Hi There,


I have not update the photos of our new place...
Modem went dead for 3 weeks. :( Lousy!!!!

The progress of the rectification is as follow:




while removing the door of the MBR Toilet,
the wall was being hack accidentally. They have plastered back but
the cornering are very sharp. We had spoken to them and ak them to
sand it. :)

Still waiting for them to install next week.

Renovation gotta delay to another week later

Just got a call from Derrick today.
Was told that the contractor - Mr Lee could not finish by this week...
@#$$%^$%*&$%!
so angry!!!! promised at first but take own sweet time!!!!
y can't they take the measurement of the vanity top when the remove it??
and there was nothing done to the place after the toilets and kitchen tiles are up!!!!
now my reno have to be delayed!!! I have been waiting for the day for our reno to start leh!!!
really waste of time!!!
they did not even plaster the whole flat!!!! only did those we paste masking tape!!!!
haiz....

ok stop dun complain liao... :(

HDB Starts Rectifications

Finally, yesterday, HDB starts with the rectification...
They hack all the tiles in the flat...
Even the floor tiles... Saw from the forum that most HDB appointed contractors juz overlay the floor tiles in the toilets. Lucky us. Mr Lee hacked all everything... so Happy....
Both me and Dear decided to let Mr. Lee did the shower kerbs in both bathrooms as he did hack the toilet tiles before laying the new one... Despite the risk, we "po chu qu"....
hehehehe...

So fast, it's the 3rd week after we have got our keys...
Derrick called the HDB abt our defects last Friday and they finally got back to us on Monday...
He managed to fix and appointment with the contractor on Tues...

There he goes and he brought back good news...
Contractor - Mr Lee will hack always the wall tiles in the kitchen and in the toilets (both common and MBR) , the floor tiles in both toilets too... :)

What I'm most happy abt the house is the taps...
hahahah... nothing else cos there are too many defects....
really had a tiring day on the 24th March as need to submit defect list by Monday...
wash the toilets to check everything clearly...
vanity top will be changed too... Yuppie... dun like the vanity tap... and the water can't clear fully from the sink...

Coming Monday, 9th April, Mr Lee, will start to work on our defects...
yuppie... can't wait for him to finish... our reno will start in May, after my cousin-in law finished his reservist... :) think by Middle to end June, we can shift in our home sweet home...

Been very flicker minded abt our design too... kept changing everytime we met up with Savio (my cousin-in law). Hope next week when he passes me the quotation, we will not be so flicker-minded again... hehehehe

Love Nest

Got our love nest finally...
long wait for the keys...
been waiting anxiously since our application on 22 Jan 2007...
Saw on the HDB webpage on 13 March saying we can collect our keys on 20 March...
That nite I can't sleep... alot of things running on my mind... design etc... what will our life be???
was really excited when told by our FSM that we can open the door on the day we collected our keys... counting all the keys... wow 27 pieces... Proud Owners of our nest...

after key collection on 20th, we rush for a quick lunch at Mos burger then rush down to IMM to buy the yuan bao chocolate for praying... rush back to my place to collect all the praying stuff and rush down to our love nest... luckily got my cousin to help out...

FSm was 15 min late... still in time for the ritual... walk ard our floor and end up walk into a neighbour's place to peep... hehhehehe.... the we heard the bell ringing and my cousin warned us that it should be master ringing the bell... so we ran out of the place... hehehehe.... performed ritual and praying start and FSM walked ard our hm to tell us what and where to place and wat not to place... enough of me talking... take a look at those photos I have taken...
